What's everyone complaining about, I pay £1470 and that was the cheapest i could find last June and I tried about 8 or 9 companies!!!! Most of the quotes I had were about £2500

CORRR!!!! My reminder landed on the door mat this morning and I looked at it and thought I would have to start the ring round to get some qoutes to bring it down a bit. but reading some of yours I dont think I shall bother!!

Mine is with HILL HOUSE HAMMOND, 1989 2.4 SSR Ltd with CAT 2 Immobiliser (their instruction last year) Garaged!! Wife as named driver, 49 years old, Full NCB & protected. I also have an option added for Legal expenses & Personal Accident cover for £24.50

TOTAL PRICE £288.56

I think I will save the on the phone bill as well!!

Maybe you should all register your motors on the I.o.W.

I just can't understand Liverpool Victoria aka Frizzell.
Last Sept they told me they were no longer taking risks on imported vehicles. Even when I said the Surf I was buying was already insured with them by its previous owner (confirmed by the reg No) they told me that they could not insure it and renewals could no longer be offered on currently insured Surfs???

Its about time these rip-off ins companies were regulated. Judging from the premiums posted here and in other threads, they have license to charge what they like... and get away with it!

I've just renewed with Liv/Vic so obviously part of what you were told is not true. However I have heard before that they will not except new custom from surf owners. Interesting to find out if they have offered Marky or anyone else a quote ?

Ok. ms dixon at liv/vic said ssrx & auto model surf cant be covered they are also not insuring any new imports except the ssrg i told her that the ssrg is a higher spec surf. deeeerrrrrrrrrrrr
