SDV in the Pyranees!
Just dropped in to say that the SDV (my 2nd gen) has sold to a local guy working in the pyranees! He sent his dad round to check out the truck and he snapped it up at full price, paid a deposit and will pick it up next week when he returns, presumably taking it straight there unless he is going to prep it in someway first?! Sounds like it's going to be put to good use down there too.
Which means I'm unlikely to be around much on here after next week (though I may keep dropping in to check out iotw!!!!) unless the withdrawal symptoms get too much to handle... and who knows, I love driving the Surf and will not rule out having another 2nd or a 3rd gen in the future. Even shuffling it about on our drive I'm already getting panic pangs so who knows....
Keep having fun yawl and as someone once said in a certain film "It's been emotional!"
