Id have run out of guts long before my truck needs a solid front axle.
But people like TonyN an Apache who are regular offroaders would probably reap the benefits very soon.
It comes down to the 'lockers vs flex' arguement. As long as your wheels are touching the ground then a locker cant help you that much - but when your out of flex and for example 'cross axle'd' a locker would be an invaluable bit of kit to keep you moving.
But more importantly, It looks bl00dy cool

Yanks have far more disposable income on average, along with the fact it such a big country, economies of scale means everything is so much cheaper in relation.
Almost anything you look at over there is the same price in $'s as it is over here in £'s.
So imagine everything you want is 1/2 price, for the same income you have now, the Toys would be rolling in.

nothin better then driving up romsey highstreet to all the people staring and the lil kids pointing with smiles on the faces.... that is untill my AC belt became slack - now i get pulled for smuggling budgies
