been playing around with the filter, found a way to allow words that form part of another word to be allowed eg scrappy, scunthorpe.
Have taken out the less offensive words like crap and shit so they can be used.
Can filter them again if you think they should be

Leave it as it is now mate. Can't see much difference in shit and sh!t or crap and cr ap. There was always a way around it and these are hardly highly offensive words anyway. I wouldn't like to see some of the really offensive words allowed though, you have to draw the line somewhere.

I believe 99.99% of the people who post here use common sense when posting and only use certain words when such descriptions are necessary. There will be a minority however who would go over the top!
