with the year it was first registered wont it be alot for road tax?

shouldn't be, if there's no emissions figures on the v5 it still the same as our trucks, even if there is aslong as it was reg'd before the cut off date for band G (may 2003 IIRC) it shouldn't be any more than £200 anyway.

I wouldn't be planning on taxing it anyway - drive it for a couple of months, then break it to make one good truck from that and mine and sell the bits that are left over.
