  • Cut down bump-stops

Well, nothing as crude as hacksawn

I just spent an hour turning the lower front bumpstops down to about half their original length, with a little step in them to make them progressive

OK, I was looking for something to do with the lathe...

Just got to do the upper ones now, but I'll need to lift the truck on the wishbones so I can get em out!

Nylon. Thats what most of the kits I've seen are made of.

I'd imagine it's a better material for that application than aluminium, as it has a modicum of pliability.

No problems with front articulation then Rick?

I was toying with making some new ones actually, but I doubt its worth it.
