  • Truck casualties from The Plain.....

    Me first...

Slid into the side of a deep rut and creased the front wing - then really trashed it when I opened the door - ouch.

Coming down the M4 a sudden growling, rumbling vibration from the front which is still there after 100km's - sounds very very expensive.

    Sometimes I hate The Plain.

    Any other truck damage guys????????

I did almost all of it in 2WD as my poxy 4WD still doesn't work, and judging by the pics of the post luncheon sessions - I made the right decision to go home....

No damage to the truck, at all - but do have my belt squeal back again.. (or maybe that was just down to me eating too much )

The little known healing properties of the plain - respect the plain, and it will fix your turbo...

well a quick look over the truck and the only damage is even more dented front valance. Fixed tomorow with an angle grinder if the weather's good. Other damage is a bruised arse after landing on it lol. Still could have been worse, I could have rolled the truck if GWH hadn't towed me back

The seal? I guess your crank bearings are knackered too then.
