  • 4 hoof drive.

Hey I got on a horse for the first time ever today, totally cool!

Wierd trying to drive something that has a mind of its own, my truck dosn't think about where it wants to stop or not when I press the brake pedal!

Good fun, Think it'll be good, am going to stick with it. And at least I'll be able to use some of the really nice countryside again thats now closed to less organic means of transport.

Where can I buy a lift kit for Linda's horse?

Did you have to re-gear it for the extra weight?

Roughhooves do a 3 inch kit but you need to extend the main veins. You could get a body lift from someone wiv a crane. I would just leave it stock for now until you asses your needs.

If we take trucks to you tony who will you take your horse to? And youll have approx 109 horse power less than me.

First thing to do to improve the handling is junk the old rubber fetlocks and replace them with nylon ones. It might feel a bit harsh at first, but its worth it for the more direct steering.

After that, perhaps change the shoes for wider ones if you do a bit of mud work. Save you getting bogged down.

I'd leave the winch until you find out if you're getting stuck all the time. Locking rear legs would probably be more cost effective. Are you gonna fit a light bar?
