Hi mate, done mine already. Its the top seal you need to replace, i bought my kit from Milners £14.95 with postage. You will have to go to a hardware store to get an O-ring for the sensor in the lid.

You can do it in situ mate, just undo the lardge retaning nut holding the sensor in place and then remove the 4 alan bolts holding the lid on. Lift the lid and push the sensor down through the hole. I cleaned up the lid and got some very very fine wet and dry paper and put it on a very flat surface put water and a little washing up liquid on it and rubbed the lid seal side in circles on it just to make it reall smooth and give a half mm extra seal compression.

Replace lid seal and ring seal, and put it back together, simple as that mate. I found that 2 days later it started pushing through the seal at the distributor block side due to pressure, but if you try to change that one you have to have the pump recalibrated and bench tested. Instead of that i added a little unleaded to my blend, i.e 90% veg -10% unleaded in my conversion, and after 4-5 days it had ceased leaking.

It must just be the extra pressure of the thicker fuel, and the unleaded leaned that down, and fed the seals, but also gave me a better bang on the compression stroke, so smoother better performance less smoke and happier injectors.

Hope you understand my write-up and the job is a doddle, from what ive seen you do up to now mate this is childsplay for you.

Ive had exactly the same problem and i'am on 100% diesel, would it have anything to do with the weather. It's still leaking shall i try some petrol?

No not unless your using veggie oil, seals will wear and leak eventually, just change top seal and o-ring and itll be ok

i was using 40 litres veg and 10 litres derv and it made my fuel pump leak good and propper!
i changed the top seal and it still leaked!
so now i use 1 litre white spirit to 15 litres veg and its never leaked since
i would use ATF fluid but its more expensive than white spirit i think!
right now in the car is about 75/25 mix veg/derv with a little white spirit and no leakage

the top seal definatly helped though - good luck
                    Oh Nana, what's my name?

Thanks very much for your excellent discription Carl, i'll get a seal after christmas, aint got too much running about to do and the tanks nearly empty,
so i'll just stick a tenner's worth of straight in it for now, might ease the pressure till i can do it,

i've been running on a 50/50 mix with 2lt of ATF in each tank full, Carl!! is this pressure due to the pump haveing to drag the mix from the tank? or is it on the outlet side to the injectors that's causeing the prob, just wondering if makeing a swirl tank when i eventually run on the second tank would ease the load on the ip, was going to do this anyway but could'nt find info on controlling the fuel level in the swirl, i got some reed switches but wireing some sort of delay in it to stop the extra electric fuel pump that would be req
                      chattering,

as for the oil cooler, i'll remove the A/C rad in the dash and use that, this other bugger's going in the bin

popeye if i was you id would take the mix down to 75%/25% diesel /veg might help but then im only thinking of what happened to skull, as i was sure i was running 50/50 but oil thicken'd n left some rubbish in filter, i couldnt start it till nigel from hpoc came up n blew airline down, n put new fuel filter on i know it prob different but it might also help

I was going to reduce the percentage Will, but was'nt too bothered as the trucks in a centrally heated garage at night, was that WVO you were useing?
i've only been useing new veg, just finished filtering 15lt of old stuff but aint put any in yet, i will reduce the mix tho cheer's.

yes m8 it was wvo it was dark in colour n also seemed alot thicker, it blocked the tank n fuel filter, never had a prob when i was on ktc oil from tesco's even at one point had 100% in then i went to 75/25 i wont be using the wvo again from plymouth, you should have seen all the gunk in the filter.

Its a viscosity thing aswell, top seal is wear and rest is more pressure i found, lower viscosity and less leaking. ATF is good all be it expensive the unleaded does it fine for me.

at the injector end it has to be forced into a mist so pressure i would think is there mate. Like i say a little leaning and a good bit of heat with the top seal should at least slow it to a single drip every now and then
