4 Runner

Hi Guy's
Have been looking at an ad for a surf 4 runner.
The pic shows ssrx on the back, it is a manual I was wondering if it really is a surf or is there a surf 4 runner model.
It also says it has auto free wheeling hubs which sounds strange and electronic 2/4 wheel electronic switching.

What do the experts think???

surfs are imports ,4 runners are not

If the rear number plate is the long thin rectangular type, its a uk 4 runner. If it the almost square rectanguler type, its the surf.
If its electric 2/4wd, then it shouldnt be freewheeling hubs.

Just checked
It has the virtually square rear number plate. So it must be a Manual surf
But the ad deffo says 4 x 2 drive system, electronic 4 wheel drive, auto free wheeling front hubs.

Its a 1992, ABS, Aircon, central locking, electric windows, 100% working.

do you guys think it would a decent buy for a newbi????

A '92 model will not have ABS. It also won't have Auto Hubs. It will have fixed hubs with ADD or possibly had manual hubs fitted. Sounds like the seller has no idea.

Do you have a link to it ?

I have a few doubts on this, for example as far as I am aware a 92 will NOT have ABS.

If we can see the advert then we can draw a better opinion of the truck.

look at his feedback as a buyer, he only bought it 6 days ago, but looking at his feedback and the advert of the seller before they share an interest in motocross so could have bid up the item or be the same person using more than one accaount, could just be coincidence aswell though.

The original seller was/is a trader, nearly all his feedback as a seller is for cars.
