  • Great nite out!

A few pints of London Pride, a fantastic meal consisting of smoked halibut and salmon starter, roast pheasant main, some superb local cheeses and a 16 year old Oban to round things off...

PLUS got approached by a young(ish) blond who hadn't spotted Vicki (cos she was behind a pillar) until it was too late, then she beat a hasty retreat (can still pull 'em! )

AND the propriator was a really friendly scouser and gave us a huge discount cos we had to wait 20 mins for a table (understandable this time of year)

Now I'm full, and mellow, and having a glass of malt. Top night!

I put it down to real ale and scotch

A good Stilton really is the ideal partner to a good malt eh?

Walked in to work this morning (about 4 miles) to clear the cotton wool from the head, now feeling fresh as a daisy and ready for the works bash at 1pm
