    she got back to me but i decided sod em, i've given em enough money, i'm going to make a latch plate for it, cant be too hard, so after xmas i'll be looking for a nice bit of metal to make the blancing plate for where the no plate etc is and fit a latch on that, there was a little sort of bracket on the lower tube which had two plastic grommets in, looks like something clips in there, this one had a bit of shoe lace on it, whats it for??,
    anyway i've ground it off along with the rubber buffers and removed the lock cable, i'm going to get it nickel plated, the blokes give me a price, £60, just have to strip and polish it and sort summat out for the no plate, rev light, etc

    Think they might have been bump stops mate, want a piccy of mine open? and the latch and plate?

      The two little clips held the pin that locks the arm open. looks like an allen key, but round, and drops into the holes on the bottom pivot.
      it's in me shed, mate.

          Cheer's, i can make something for that then, i'm putting the bump stops back on carl, just removed em to make it easier to strip and plate, dont worry about a pic carl, it's going to be trial and error, have to bolt the carrier on first and go from there, thanks tho
