After having Steveo do the head yesterday i go to the car this morning to a puddle of water under the car, took it to my mates house looks like the water pump is pi55ing water out just fantastic. if i fell in a barrel of t1ts id come out sucking my thumb

get on to roughtrax mate,i think a new pump is about 75 quid or so

If you had the head done ,why didn't you replace the pump ?
oh an antifreeze and cambelts don't get on

i did ask Steveo if i could bring a pump but aparently they dont run off the timing belt and he had never had a problem fitting a head and needing a pump fitting just incase, that is until my went its just my luck, but then again it could be worse it could have happened near christmas.

No disrespect to Stevo intended, but replacing the head without replacing the pump as a precaution, (unless specifically asked not to), is begging for problems. Granted, it may not be the cause of 95% of head problems, but an extra hundred quid or less for peace of mind and reliability. Can't understand the logic myself.
