??? how did I do this ?? reading a thread and scrolling down using the mouse wheel I managed to shrink the forum to this size ...How did that happen ?? ... I had to use a fresh tab to open the site in normal size ...How did I do that and how would I undo it??

Look down at the bottom right hand side of the screen,

There is an adjuster of screen size, your scroll wheel as amended it

In your example you got it set to 20% hence the shrinkage - can't blame this shrinkage on the cold weather

clue is in the bottom right hand of the screen...

          where it says 23%...
Click the little triangle to the right and select 100%...
          or get bigger glasses...

Or hold down the ctrl key and roll the wheel on the mouse again...

And a bit of general advice, get rid of all things Norton and Symantec. It will eventually fcuk your PC up and it will make an IT fixer a fortune if you don't.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Norton is up at the end of this month so am looking for something less invasive and does not slow the pc down so much

                    Cheers

Comodo is free, I get McAfee free through a volume licence from work.

Anti-Virus opinions vary wildly, with everyone reporting the one they use is the best, I like McAfee. Some folk will warn against it saying it slows your machine down, however I suspect that's a set-up issue as I've installed McAfee on hundreds of systems without problems. If it was garbage or slowed machines, my employer wouldn't have it on hundreds of thousands of PCs.

Remember and get rid of everything to do with Norton when you uninstall it, use the clean up thingy at the link below.
