The frogs over in Franceland seem to manage to get what they want whenever they have a mass protest.
Maybe, as usual, the british should roll over and take it up the tail pipe

Probably because they don't get called terrorists when they protest without a license.
Last time the truckers tried to blockade Fawley refinery, the Police meet them there and gave them two options, move or be arrested. They would arrest them under the anti-terrorisum laws, confiscate their trucks, and report them to the department of transport to have their licences revoked. Given those options what choice did they have.
