Anyone know exactly how they come off
removed about 6 Bolts each side but still appear fixed either end somehow

    Ta very much

Well, I know how they come off - cuz ive taken mine off!

Best way to describe it is "give them a jiggle"

They should tilt up towards the truck on the outer lip an then fall off an smack you either on the chest or face.... bl**dy things!

        Thanks for replies,
I'll give them another go in the Morning,

felt a bit like they were 'sprung' into place lengthways
        could be wrong though

                    Job done,
just as well, as its now raining nicely.

the back & front most brackets have slotted bolt holes as you say, so just loosen not remove those bolts

it looks better without them, like the Hilux I had before.

                    thanks for advice

                    Oh BTW

had heater matrix replaced last week, the old One not visibly holed, but one brass pipe spinning in matrix so likely the cause of condensation/wet floor

how do you easiest dry out the carpet properly,

looks a pain to remove, or does one side come out by itself fairly easilly

Carpet's in one piece i'm afraid, no easy optsion unless you remove the door edge trim and prop up the carpet so air can get under and use some sort of fan heater, i'd give it a going over with a vax type washer first tho

I think most people remove them if they need drying out bad.

Mop up as much excess as you can with some kitchen roll and then get an extention lead and a hair dryer. a few minutes on full heat would probably be the easiest way.

                            whoops

Well I lifted both sides, removed drain plugs
                            yep that bad,
tried her hairdryer but TBH its an up hill struggle,

I've actually chopped out the footwell sections on both sides and removed the insulation as much as possible.

hopefully the misting will be ended, which is a flippin' nuisance
then I'll buy some fresh Grey carpet squares and overlay and glue the jagged seams.

                              Anyway
still losing water somewhere, not sure its entering cabin as yet
although floor appears (for now at least) dry.

The main radiator has a build up of what looks not unlike
battery terminal powder type gunk, along the seam on top front,

where it runs across front of car cross member bonnet catch thing.

Are rads easy to remove? and have recored
I'm off over Christmas, so have time if its not too involved
