Longer (nearly 6ft with the back seats down), about the same width, but not as tall because of the Surf's high rear floor. More practical rather than larger volume I reckon.
Sounds ideal. Its only got to take fishing gear, a mountain of luggage and bikes
i got my 2.4 for 750 quid,it had been stood up for about 6 months, but had had a new toyota head.the previous owner had implrted it donr the head and unfortunately passed away.i have replaced the radiator and front discs.since owning it ,apart from servicing costs(filters, oils, grease etc) the only trouble apart from the above has been as unyet completely diagnosed electrical fault, which is so minor i just live with it.we operate some l200 mitsubishi's as the leased 110's we had before were so unreliable, take some time and find the one you really want, that has the best level of kit for your money.mileage is not really so important as the servicing it has received
sooooo, your convinced and you dont need anymore convincing.or do you.the surf is the most comfortable car i have ever driven,i will never ever get anything else now when it comes round to replacing it,not that it wil ever need replacing coz they just keep going and going and going and .........well you get the picture.as people have said before take your time shop around and get the right truck for you,the market is flooded with them so there is plenty to choose from.there is only one thing left to say and that is hi and welcome to the surf emporium of pleasure and just make sure you get a BLACK one, happy surfing
Talking of colours, I fancy getting a re-spray next year, maybe a charcoal colour like that new 'stealth' Lamborghini or army olive green, but in a satin finish.
