  • B/Bar Off How do i fit my spots now?

Ive still got my 9" spots, I love them and want to keep em, as theyre really bright, but are too proud to bolt to the bumper.

Any ideas on how or where to attach them?

they are bottom bolted centrally under the lights, so theres an overhang at the back of the lights of 2-3 inches, like standard spots

Then all you need is a couple of pieces of metal strip, about 3" long by 1 1/2" wide and at least 3mm thick with a hole drilled in each end to fix to the bumper so the spots stand away from the grille.

That should have been quite obvious eh? Ill do that mate, thanks for making me realise what a twonk i can be, I may get 2 pieces, and do the one you mentioned and under it on the front of the bumper do an L-shaped one thatll go up and forward for strength.

Cheers mate, got the ball rolling. Hope the wee ones ok mate, mines here in about 7 weeks

If your going to make a couple of brackets could you make some that fit to where the B/bar bolted to. thus saving drilling the bumper bar?

Good idea in theory but, it have to be about 24 inches long and be shaped like a bull bar to work

                  Thankyou though

You could also bolt them to my B-Bar.

Far be it from me to "improve" on vince's idea but i'd drill two holes at the bumper end, might stop em swinging round if they loose'n up,
Wot's up with the bull bars then? did'nt last long

can you do it like my bottom 2 or are they too deep?
mine are fixed where the number plate would normally.

Going for a body lift and A: These bars should fund most of it, and B: Theyll obstruct the headlights. Spots and light bar stay though. Couldnt hold off the lift any longer

Cheers Vince that seems a more stable braket, and could still do the L-shaped bit under it.
