So long as the receiver is big enough, I don't see any problems.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

At least a 50 litre tank. A 24 litre would run the air tools, but the compressor would be constantly running to keep with the demand for air..

              I'd go one step further.

If the compressor is one of them portable type ones, I'd stick with the 25L receiver for portability, BUT, I'd also have an external 50L receiver for use in the garage.

Compressor connected to its own receiver, then that to the 50L one and your tools to that. I have some 6mm self sealing QRCs if you want some for connecting things up.

Ah, I see, a reciever connected to another, bigger reciever to recieve air from the reciever that recieves air from the compressor.

My compressor has a receiver tank of 100ltrs and it will only just keep up with air tools such as sander.cut off tool etc. It is OK with ratchet spanners and such. So I would say it depends on what tools you are going to use.
I would say get as big a receiver as you can to ensure all air tools will work efficiently
PS. Sorry about the short answer but it did answer your question

get some thing with the biggest cfm, you can.that will run on a 13amp plug top.the receiver size shouldnt be a big problem but around 75 ltr is plenty to power air tools.
