on sky + what do you think of it ive been thinking of getting it but cant make me mind up.

If you record a lot of programmes/ a series of programmes its good.Also good for pausing when the phone rings or you are distracted in some way. Apart from that no advantage. If you have a decent DVD recorder you can do the same apart from the pause thing.
Of course there is the added advantage of having a quad LNB. fitted by sky which leaves two connections free to add either another sky plus box or two more sky boxes anywhere in the house and recieve freeview digitally without paying multiroom subscription. However quad LNBs are quite cheap if you fit it yourself.

You would only receive the freeview channels for free. You just need a sky box (one of which you probably have from your previous subscription before you got your + box) and connect it to one of the spare LNB connections on your sat dish.
