I replaced a few changing room doors at Ynysybwl rugby club after they were kicked in. The only rugby pitch in Wales thats on the side of a hill!!

It's in Newport i believe, must say that is in nice condition and without the plate i would have thought it was newer than that, plus it's got snorkel and lifted like i want with my 3rd gen

Wheels look diddy though, and surely the 4.2 would easily turn 35s...

What's the fuel (lack of)economy like with the 4.2? I bet it's not much worse than the 2.4 Surf.

Hi, a very nice Land Cruiser. I wonder why there are no pictures of the inside. I have had a Land Cruiser for years - it's a 1992, metallic grey, auto, 4.2. It's been sitting at a friend's farm for over a year now. It has had a very hard life and it needs a lot of work for an MOT and the immobiliser thingy is lost.

It's a great workhorse and I towed a lot with it although the fuel consumption is not good.

I would definately go for it.

Edit, I don't know how that happened, I was trying to load that under a diferent thread about 30 mins ago but site wouldn't let me, so I got bored and went looking for land cruisers and found this.

my uncle, cousin, and about 20 of their friends all have these. they all have the 4.2 turbo diesel, straight 6. sounds like a lorry engine.
my uncle and cousin had a tv DAB tuner fitted to theirs. really decent motors

I spent a weekend with a few of Frogs Islands finest TLC80's. Awesome trucks, well kitted out but return about 18MPG

I would have expected 22-25 from the diesel ( depending on how you drive it of course)
