Not a clue mate, did you check to see if you had brake pads and not just two bits of very hot steel where the pads once lived?

the brakes are compleatly off there all clear too (brake pads 3 days old)
the noise comes from the joint behind the front passanger wheel
it sounds like a creaking with the wheel off the floor but its realy loud with the wheel on the floor????? i have no idea what it is but it is comeing from that joint behind the wheel
i have stiped it all down ready to take out but need to know how to take it out

Well thems the nuts what holds your bearings in me old mate, so check bearings again, if you're sure they're ok then refit them and do everything back up. Those nuts also need tightening to the right torque. If there's play in them the hub assembly will be looser than it should be hence the rattle.

GENTLY PRISE THE METAL PLATE OFF THE BACK OF THIS JOINT - YOU WILL SEE A CIRCLIP - REMOVE IT - SLIDE OFF THE TRI LOBED INNER PART OF THE JOINT - UNDO CV BOOT AND SLIDE IT ALL OFF - UNDO THE OUTER CV BOOT AND THE SHAFT SHOULD SLIDE OUT THROUGH THE LOWER 'A' ARM OF THE SUSPENSION

IT IS EASIER TO TAKE OFF THE ENTIRE HUB AND ACCESS THE SHAFT THAT WAY

do them bolts on the gear box end knock out of there caseing NO or they studs

CLEAN AND REGREASE ALL OF THE BEARINGS AND THE NOISE SHOULD GO AWAY

IF NOT YOU WILL NEED NEW BRONZE BUSHES FROM ROUGHTRAX

Really? ask them a price for 10 litres of type 4 auto transmission fluid, the type used in Lexus transmissions.

                          Ta!
