need to order glow plugs help

It depends on how many times you use them, not the mileage.

I had a citroen van, and it got used six days a week, and was started between 2 and 10 times a day, and the original glow plugs lasted 120,000 miles, which was about 2.5 years, the second set lasted until I sold the van at 350,000 miles, at 7 years old, both sets were from the OEM.

only reason im being fussy is because has any of you ever started a land cruiser, 4.2td? about 1994?
it hardly turns over before it fires up,
was wondering if i could get my truck close to that.. would be nice

how do the other glow plugs you buy compare to toyota originals? or are they the best by far? im talking ebay ones, roughtrax ones, etc

Mine starts just like that, don't know what plugs are in it, but it starts pretty much after one or two revolutions, ie, 1 second after turning the key.

In fact, my brand new citroen van takes longer to start than the surf.
