ps they never even gave me a point to put my winch hook to , had to use lash hook [they said they dont like to fit anything beyond bumper ] lol winch rollers [just more flannel

I want an ARB/TJM type winch bumper too, but again, it's too many £££'s for me this year, and next year too probably, so a bespoke one may be the way to go, Who has access to metal working gear? I can access an arc welder, which will be fine for tacking together bits for checking the fit, and got grinders and stuff.

Mine cost me £30 and a mate to weld it.

But if you were paying for all the materials i'd guess £60-£80 which aint bad. Just takes time to do the measuring and cutting. But there is some satisfaction that you've done it.

And of course, you could make up templates as you go, so as to be able to reproduce all the cut components again whenever you need to, I have a sheet metal workshop about 200 yards from home, so materials won't be a prob,

BTW Nice job Smiffy, any idea what it wieghs in comparison to the original?

its looking quite like a fabrication firm neext door to my tyre place, can fabricate a mount as well.they are getting a quote together for said mount, which would require just the bumper cutting.if its not to much money may go for that option, but if they could look at smiffys plans perhaps ..........

                      and group discount !!!!

(they reckon the mount would be in the region of 75 quid or so)

Not got a clue mate The only template i used was the curve for either side of the winch box. The rest was just measure and offer to vehicle to check.

Had to use bigger indicators, since the led ones were not producing enough power.
