I love those 'how it works' pages that dont tell you how it works, but just go on about how a German Scientist who was born in Germany to German parents and was brought up as a German mixed some stuff (when he worked for Mercedes / NASA / a secret govt department - just pick one) and it made everything brilliant!!!

(A bit like Diesel Bob, who made this thing, that does stuff, and gives you loads more power, and economy, and sex appeal!)

Whats wrong wiv white spirit? Used it for donkeys no problems.

i've been using white spirit mixed with svo now for a couple of months or so without any probs.As it thins the oil a bit then i wouldn't think it would cause quite so many probs as straight oil in the tank

i know wot yr sayin mate,just all i can picture is wot white spirit on its own does to rubber/plastic,surely it wud would crack/split in the end?

It most certainly was not. I wear my ignorance proudly and remain sceptical about anything that I don't understand. Some call me a flat-earther but I think I have now reached the lofty status of 'luddite'.
