Harvester Archers always ask me for Goose feathers for the Long bow shooters,If you want to pm your address I will post you some I'm afraid we are boring and use multi coloured fletchings fro KG Archery, I have resisted the compound bow up to now but my shoulder is struggling with the recurve and would like to try field archery in the new year !

Ta very much, that man I must admit making the stuff is half the fun for me! I have a pile of ash staves drying out in the shed, and a queue of mates who want a bow!! ( got a bit of yew, but I'm keeping that, at the moment.. )
I'm not sure about compound bows, and all the sights and such like- not sure I could make them.... and they don't look like 'proper bows' ....still if they keep you shooting, it's got to be good!

Can't you just leave the cat in the back of her garden one night......

                              UPDATE>>>>UPDATE>>>>UPDATE>>>> UPDATE>>>>UPDATE>>>>UPDATE>>>

so, the binmen came today, emptied the wheelie bins, obviously saw the dead cat, because they left it in the garden...bar stewards!!!!!

anyway, the old lady was out there last night, 1st time i'd seen her doing this, but apparently she's been out there everynight calling after Fumty, or Dumpty or Thumpy (wish she'd put her fawking teeth in coz i can't understand a word she frigging' says) and stayed out there for about half hour calling this dumbass cat.

anyway, i'm not going to tell her now because too much time's passed and if she asks to see the cat, aargggghhhh you don't want to know how minging it is now!!!

still don't know what to do, but now i'm worried this mad old bird is going to die of num...neu...pneu...pnu...erm, a bad feckin' cold coz she's out there, no teeth in, in a pink nightie and slippers, late at night and it's gettimg cold ou there!!!!

BTW...i pulled up one of my dad's patio slabs, dug a bit of dirt out, buried the cat and put the slab back over it, but now it wobbles and bangs against the one next to it when you walk over it. hopefully he won't notice for a while and i can get it fixed before he does and finds the cat...again.
i swear, it was like that when i got here...
