    Dunno mate.

I saw on another Toyota forum that some guy had painted his dial numbers and needle with day-glo paint and he used a small black neon. Just trying to find it..............stay tuned!

Sorry dude, yes try the translucent spray, you only need a couple of coats and it's job done. Because it's translucent they still light up over the indiglo's.

edit: forgot to mention, only paint the backs of the needles as the front face is where the light comes through, you'll see what i mean when you take em off.

If your needles are poor then, im sure the solution will turn up soon.... BUT mine are ok! they arnt very well lit at all, but you see the dark part where the needle is an its easier to see whats going on now with the indiglo dials, vs. stock!

Well, i aint got any mirrors!

aswell as looking good, i wanted the grille to add a bit more chrome to the front of my truck, With my tjm winch bumper being big an black! Its meant ive lost a lot of chrome up front... so helps a bit!

Dials, well stock, mine sucked! Couldnt see anything, Rather then mess around working out bulbs an stuff... just went the whole hog an did the dials!

Ive got a lot of off road beef on an to come!

So im not a total Bling meister!

                          rod you got pics?

mine are a bit light orange, and i was thinking what to do.. but i cant be bothered taking the dash apart because its grief aint it? i know i will break something, or put it all back together thinking ive not broken anything, only to find i have missed something that can only be fixed by taking it all apart again..

PS.. i have about 10 UV L.E.D.s here that i bought and didnt use. i have resistors to match for a 12v circuit. the light given off by these ultra violet bulbs is about half way between visible and invisible, so you get quite a bright light off them in the dark, AND they make stuff glow too. like if i hold my watch up for a second then the hands on my watch are glowing propper brightly.

only thing is with uv reactive stuff, that eventually you will be back where you started as it wears out... any one seen the dyno rod vans?

The dynorod vans have been exposed to long hours of sunlight, thats why they fade. It won't be a problem in the dash.

fair enough, but the leds emit uv.. isnt that what does the damage?

have you fitted your v8 yet?

Excellent, does that mean you'd get a tan as you drive? Is it a 3rd gen only add-on?
