The gasket seal has gone hard they did around 1,500 worth of work on it but didn't change the seal which is silly would have done it as a necessity. they also did the following work same day and new parts fitted.
cylinder head set (brand new)
head bolts (brand new)
head skim and pressure test
cam belt kit (brand new)
cylinder head (brand new)
antifreeze
oil and filter
top hose (brand new)
2x batteries (brand new)
So as you can see they did a lot of work on it and left out something so silly
Had a quote of around £60 to sort it out and clean up the oil spill just hope thats it, as it is a lovely surf and i would rather drive that than my mr2
new head was £915
skim and pressure test was £40

Firstly, if the OP was comfortable at the prospect of doing the job themselves, they would have done. They obviously are not.
Secondly, stop being an ignorant pr1ck. For a while one hoped you may take the suggestion of your own accord. You obviously have not, so I've put it in less than subtle terms in the hope that you may actually take heed.

After this reply, I am not going to humour you any more. All I will say, however, is that hopefully one of the mods/admins might actually get off their arses and act like one, for a change. Whilst your attitude is not overly offensive or abusive, (recently), you really have no judgement of when, or when not, certain comments or attitudes are suitable. You are, to put it succinctly, somewhat of a cretin, in my opinion.

I assume the one you're talking about is the import Mk2 MR2 Turbo A friend had a heavily modded one years ago, boy was it fast in a straight line! It would rip your face off!!! I wasn't anything like as good in the twisty bits as my MK1 though.Last edited by Apache; 9 November 2007, 09:07.Cutting steps in the roof of the world
