Thanks for the thought, I was offered a 99 Passat synchro estate for peanuts, and suffice to say now whilst remaining Surfless, I have a 4x4 again.
Bit of a bugga though, I was exited at the prospect of surf ownership again.
I daresay I shall be lurking hereabouts for a while, who knows, if the right surf crops up I may be back!
