I bought 2 solar panels from maplins but neither worked there was a fault with the wire inside the rubber where it came out of the panel.

                      Maplins didn't want to know.

I bought one of these and fitted water proof connectors to everything lawn tractor bike car truck. So I routinely leave them on trickle charge over the winter boat battery gets a turn as well.

Know what you mean about maplins, dont think i've been there yet and come away satisfied, they used to be good a few years back, that looks more like it, how much and where from John?
she's parked in the garage most times so solar's no good (even if they do work )
anyhoo she started up fine this morning,

You should just complain profusely at them. They have the most p1ssy returns policy. Complain incessantly and they'll take anything back. (Good job really with the tat they sell).

He did complain, but it was a 100 mile round trip if I remember, and wasn't worth the diesel!

They would have shipped fresh ones to him. F.O.C. *If* he complained enough.

Edit: Or just have refunded him, if he didn't want replacement items.
