  • Transmission fluid cooler (auxiliary)?

    Anyone got or wanna sell an oil cooler that could be used as an auto trans oil cooler? Kinda like the one the lovely boyo fitted to his. Not wanting to shop from the states yousee.

    I have an air-con evporator rad (the one in the black box under the dash) that you can have for £10 plus postage!

    They use them for transmission coolers in Oz.

        SOLD i think, if its a workable doo dah the thats great cos i wana fit it in line before the rad core so that theres less heat transfereance to the coolant and also not too cold in winter as itll carry some off coolant also.

        Shall i pm you my details? How do you want paid? Also im going away on saturday long journey, any chance of gettin it this week?

              Spot on, dya think itll be better if i cut the pipes down and get rid of the electrics and stuff? Where do they mount this on the oz site, or where dya fink is best place?

                          Got one of them to remove when i get round to removeing the lower dash, spose i could have done the same as your doing, however i'm useing a trooper intercooler rad soon as i get one end welded,
                          Too young to die and too old to give a toss
