If he's that regular put a call into your local nick and ask them to have a look out. The night shift will knock off about 7am so i'm sure they will want something to fill the last 1/2 hour when paper work is impossible due to weighted eye lids.

i will give them a bell tomorrow.
my sister got tricked by someone she half knew and he took her phone off her, so i went took her to sutton police station that night and she made a statement giving all the details as this bloke was out on prohbation anyway apparently.
2 weeks went by and we didnt hear anything so we called them back up and there had been no statement made they said. its things like this that make me not trust the police.. its also why i dont think they would do anything.
another instance, a drunk driver drove into us in putney. we went to the police station made a statement that a drunk drive drove into us and has drove off, me thinking that they would go to his home and catch him drunk.. i was laughed at by the police and told they cant and wont do that...
hilander do you want to show these idiots how to be a copper?Oh Nana, what's my name?

Just do what I did to a black Mercedes that was absolutely speeding down the road where Lottie used to live - this was a 30 zone with kids everywhere. I just waited between two parked cars where he couldn't see me until he got close and then I stepped out in front of him, then stepped back in. The guy must have followed through because he just stamped on his brakes, sliding to a stop way, way past me and only just in control - then he just sat there in the middle of the road for ages. Either he had a heart attack or he was loading a gun, but either way I just walked off. I'm pretty sure he learnt a lesson.
Just remember to hide at a point where you can see him but he can't see you and the idea is just to startle him and see if he'll have a "that was close... what if" approach from then on. He probably won't be paying that much attention first thing in the morning assuming that the road is clear. Of course, his reaction may be that he simply bins the bike which would really be a win for you!Real trucks don't have spark plugs

i think its worth having a word with him, if he is up every morning ta 6.00am for work he cant be all that bad person , so perhaps he dosent realise the noise and upset he causes.
had the same situation myself with a teen in his glorified corsa speeding around our locality where kids are playign. stepped out one evening as he was coming by and pointed out the error of his ways, he started to get lippy and i advised him i would only ask him nicely one, havent seen him since....
only advice i would give is if you do confront him do it away from your own house, or establish were he lives first

anyway, don't try to clothesline him off, you'll lose an arm if he's doing 50mph.
your best bet, once the police have fobbed you off, and they will, is a long pole thrown javelin/spear like through his front wheel. get practicing asap, this isn't an easy thing to accomplish off the cuff...but if you hit it right the resulting cut in speed is dramatic.Last edited by logey79; 22 October 2007, 14:35.i swear, it was like that when i got here...

TonyN please delete all my posts please as i'm sure they are going to lead to a criminal record.
if he seriously took MY advice then he'd be a right d!ck....cos it would be far easier too just hit the guy with the pole because it takes great skill and training to do what i suggested previously.
BTW when a jounalist (eg Clarkson) writes or says anything like this, is it you penning those objections to the watchdogs???i swear, it was like that when i got here...

Maybe the idea would be to be in the road in good time for him to stop for a conversation, if you don't want to be in the road, maybe use the car to block the road with hazards on. I'm just saying this tactic worked for me, we never saw the Merc speeding again.Real trucks don't have spark plugs

he is still speeding but he isnt full wide open throttle like he usually is... its alot better on the head
i just cant describe it, no other cars around and you hear this. i dont know if any of you have heard what a supermoto is but its a single cylinder 4 stroke. they must be one of the loudest bikes around other than harleys. and it sounds like that
my friend who has this supermoto, i said about this bloke who comes past, and he said about he dont think its allowed to make so much noise that early. then he went on about giving other bikers bad name :/Oh Nana, what's my name?
