they generally aint the brightest,every police car has a big red button,they press it,take keys out,it still runs,so they can leave engine on,lights on,and lock it,the amount of police cars we go to with flat batterys!!!

Years ago, when I was on the tools, I used to do all the "I've locked my keys in the car" calls. Biggest offenders were surgeons, next were the polis. Little wonder I don't trust either profession...

There was a letter on Ceefax the other day from an ex-copper (on about motorists).

According to him, he was told by his sergeant,when going out on his first duty, to remember that the most stupid animal on the planet has a steering wheel in it's hands.

Excuse me, but don't nearly all our coppers drive around in cars?
