Yes it sucks when people break in and steal things....
but do they deserve to die for it?
you should't climb pylons and touch 110,000v cables... but there's a chance you'll die doing that too!!

That is absolutely fantastic. Did you read all the replies? Especially the guy who said in Texas you can walk into your local pub with a loaded shotgun, while having one in a rack in your truck too!!!!

Whatever people think of the Americans, they sure do know how to look after themselves.

If we had them laws here, crime would drop to nothing in no time. Now, where are those hoodies????

              ** Franticly Removing Hoody**

As much as I am infavour of "bustin a cap in some sukkas ass" to quote a few of our American friends and all in favour of protecting my home and or business I cant help but think that if we arm ourselves to defend our homes then the "hoodies" or "crims" breaking in will also arm themselves...

              So where does it end?

(Oh and IIRC in the states a study has proven that a knife is more deadly over a distance of 21ft than a gun, based on time for a trained police officer to draw, aim and fire, against time to pull a knife and run)

Spent a lot of time in the States, particularly the South - a lot of which has been Texas.

I REALLY hope we NEVER end up with firearms available in 'supermarkets' as per Texas (been to Bass Pro?) and a lot of other states?

Did you know, if you have a firearm in the house to 'defend against burgars', you are 75% more likely to kill a family member than a burglar? That isn't any gun rhetoric, thats fact.

To be honest, I'd rather some chav got away with my telly (its insured, I'll get a better one) than risk one of the kids blowing the other kid's brains all over the wallpaper.

Well, actually you cant. You'd be arrested just like you would here. Not to mention being labelled an antisocial, dangerous d1ckhead (which is worse! )

May I suggest watching Bowling for Columbine? I think it was Michael Moore (please excuse the spelling).

Possibly the best anti gun argument going

got to agree our gun law is deff better, dogs CCTV and intruder alarms are safer/better than guns as Andy says its insured so i get a better one.
