does anyone know if you can have your spot lights on roof bars wired into high beam or if you have to have a seperate switch to work them?

Legally, I think they have to be on a separate switch, but I don't see why you couldn't wire them to the main beam, and then throug a switch, so when the switch is on, they come on with the main beam, and you can switch them off for mot purposes.Rob

All i can see is ones for trucks with gutters and roof rails What am i missing?
