hey luke4runner. iv got a 2nd gen and im now itching to get rid then i can get a 3rd gen all the reasons you said i believe in. and when i do get one i wouldn't give a s#*t what anyone says i will be happy

3rd gen has the same appeal as 2nd gen (its still a Surf) plus its:-
Got more room
Has better rack and pinion steering
Has better 4WD
Has 1" bigger wheels tyres as standard
Its lighter
More fuel efficient
Coil front suspension
ABS
Air bags
Proper tail gate
And comes in Ice blue (if can't beat em join em)
Land cruiser chassis...........
