Tescos Inverness doing 3 litres for £1.98 for 3 litres. got half a tank there today.

So still saving about £7s every 18 litres.

Co-op Fort William 79pence per litre.

Spar Fort William 69p for Sunflower oil.

We should source the best deals. Anyone got better prices.

My lidl say leave em in the trolley bring em back in and well put them in our recycle bin for you. not bad eh?

Nope, no corn oil in my local branch either. Costco were doing 20 litres for £10.20 a month ago, it's now gone up to £11.40!

Ive DISCOVERED that the spout from the 5 Litre fuel container bought from petrol stations screws onto the top of a 3 Litre veg oil Bottle, This makes life easier

Hmmmm. So the shop actually knows that you are pouring this into your tank in the carpark and not using it for cooking? I wonder how long before some jobs worth puts a stop to this on the grounds that you may spill the oil and cause a trip hazard for other shoppers?

Filling up a 4x4 out of a jerry can on a desert road is fine but personally, I’d be too embarrassed to fill a tank with cooking oil in public view (with people thinking you are a cheapskate tax dodger), just as well that I only use petrol.
