Have had my Insurance Renewal from Adrian Flux. £648
Modded Surf, Fully Comp, SDP+commuting, 1 fault accident, incl Recovery

Thought I'd have a ring round..
Lifesure - as recommended by some, couldn't get close
Tesco - ran a mile, when I said I off-road, no quote

Roadsure 4x4 insurance
Policy as above incl Recovery; off-road/greenlane use; £100xs instead of £200, only quirk is you cannot gain NCD with this scheme
but premium was £429

will check all the smallprint when it arrives but for now..

saving £219 - thank you very much

Well roadsure are no good for me Look at their On-line Quote Eligibility Criteria

1)

Is not a grey import and/or a double cab pickup;

It's a Surf, it's a grey import !
2)

Will not be used for more than 12,000 miles per annum.

Oops. I do about double that

Just got mine re-insured through a company called 2gether. £306 fully comp. They specialise in 4 x 4 insurance and they know what a Surf is (Oh yes, sir. The Japanese import model of the Toyota 4 Runner!) It's gone up £20 since last year but I still thought it wasn't bad.

just about to renew with flux, im still under 25 so getting a quote can be an issue!
got a good price tpft (fully comp last year) and was half of most people except swiftcover, good quote but they charge extra for everything and massive excess.

Just renewed mine with A-Plan for £289 fully comp for me and the trouble.

I didn't read any online quotation criteria, I phoned them up as online quoting never works for imports or modifications. Just standard boring vehicles.

They have underwritten it, I was quite clear what it was.

I will have to check now.

just paid £232.00 fully comp with protected ncb with lifesure well impressed for the second year running.
