Surf servicing in Berks/North Hampshire

Folks,
I left my truck in to Newbury 4x4 (recommened by someone here) and would recommend them ! They knew their stuff and didn't rip me off. I also got them to to do an MOT as the (*******) dealer never supplied one and I got fed up asking for 3 months. The Surf is motoring much better and sounding much better. Aforementioned (*******) dealer obviously never had it service after import even though his add promises that all his cars are serviced before being sold ! I have posted a warning about this dealer. But I am happy with the service at Newbury 4x4. They give courtsey cars but be warned they are Ford Ka's. I had to take my boots of becuse the pedals in the Ka were too close together. Its hard to find a good place but these guys are good !

i always thought they were a bit snooty in there, but i popped in for some wheel nuts and they were a good bunch of lads...
always thought it would be a bit expensive going to a 4x4 specialist for non 4x4 stuff but haven't heard any complaints.

I really liked them coz I was afraid they would quote me for a service then charge me double when I collected my Surf. But the quote wasn't far out and the Surf sounds and runs a lot better since. I would go back in the future

I've only heard good things about them.... I think Codlord and Rich have both used them and been pleased.

Do they do pump timing?

I would dearly love to get the diesel pump checked out. Are these guys equipped to do this sort of thing. I would happily drive up from Bristol as it isn't that far.

good diesel specialist would be rayner engineering in Newbury, i'd imagine that newbury 4x4 would send pumps there anyway, as it's just around the corner...
