YUM YUM its pancake day !!

The Vagrant no2 has just munched 51/2 pancakes filled with mixed fruit pie filling and whipped cream . All I need is a beer .

Open the packet and make them !! Or in my case , get Tam (wifey)to open the packet and make them .

Tam says equal amounts of flour , water and a couple of eggs .
Mix , and add to a HOT pan .
Turn over when smoke alarm sounds .
Then remove from pan and eat
First one always cr*p

When you say equal amounts... How much exactly? a Pint? half pint?

I would suggest a cup of each to start with and one egg . This should make about 3 pancakes .
If mix is too thick add more MILK !!


I have just been told to use milk not water , sorry !

its actually quite easy to make pancakes Linda all you do is put 4 spoon fulls of plain flour in a bowl then 1/2 a pint of milk add an egg give it a whisk add some salt turn oven on put oil or fat in pan pour your batter in and when it starts to bubble on the top FLIP IT! then when it bubbles again put it on your plate and eat it

right well, I used water coz I made it before I read Rick's 2nd post..

They do taste like pancakes, but they look the same as my omlettes... kinda like scrambled egg... they just stuck to the spatula and the pan and wouldnt turn over..

Delicious though!!
