i seemed to have eliminated the rubbing problem for the time by trimming a bit more from the front of the wheel arch. There is still a bit of rubbing when the truck leans to one side when corning sharply but i'll get that sorted again as i'll not corner so sharp in futurehttps://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/

What offset are those wheels Rich? I was looking at various today. Orig surf alloys -8mm, my 265/75-16s are -3mm, and the ones I've just bought are -32mm. Just wondering whether I'm gonna need a big or small hammer...
I'm guessing that more neg is necessary the wider you go (to a certain extent) as they wont protrude too far (13.5" width) so I wont need to add too much polypropylene sheet extension to the arch!
Anyway, we'll know next tuesday.Cutting steps in the roof of the world

Nce one Richard. I had the same rubbing issues as you and my off set on my rims are quite big. Took off the liner bit cut the sill bit and bent it back a bit. No more rubbing. Mine were also rubbing on the bumper as well so cut away an angled bit from the end cap. Later on i removed the bottom valance bit anyway and threw the butchered end caps away. Go on,you know you want to.www.scottishmudclub.com for scottish events
