  • glad i carry a spare fuel filter

After 150 miles on WVO i broke down due to fuel starvation . I had Filtered wvo 3 times through bedsheet type material - wHEN i took filter off and it's full of what looks like crystalized fatty bits - but more like flakey white bits , not what im used to seeing . could this be $$$$ from the tanks bottom or WVO fat deposits.

think i'll stick to svo if this is gonna happen often - you dont want a near 2 tonne truck dying on you. You cant exactly push it like a small car .

sounds like the veg... SVO in the cold goes kinda crystally and is more yellow than golden.

I had flaky white sh*t in the fuel filter I changed after a few tanks of pump bio (from WVO). I'd always assumed that it was calcerous deposits from the tank / lines. Haven't had it since (two filters and a year and a half later)
