  • A tyre question...

    Guys

Just noticed that I have a nearly bald tyre on the front drivers side. The other one is still nearly new. I have 2 good tyres on the back.

What do I do? Do I get a new front and possibly have a different tread on each side, or do I move the 2 good back ones to the front and have the different treads on the back?

Don't really wanna buy 2 tyres when I only need one...what is best?

Swap it with your spare or buy the same as the other front?

Ok, How aboutkeeping the other tyre as a spare spare. Then getting two new ones.

Just been on their site and cannot get the sizes I want...

The ones I have are 275\70\17 but I would like to go back to the original 270\60\15 (I think)...

What tyre do you need? Maybe someone has one, or knows where to get one from.

If you currently have 17" rims, then you'll need to stick to 17" tyres or buy new rims too.

I have just had an email from these guys:

                        Hi--
I'm afraid we have opted from today not to sell Colway tyres as we have issues with them regarding quality of product and service.
                        Cheers
                        Andrew

Well, I got my Colways through Sowden Tyres, arrived next day, and I'm quite happy with them.

Just ordered one through Event Mobile Tyres.

Since it is a Michelin Synchrone I guess I need to get the same...
