Right almost time to sort out my new insurance!!

Im planning on checking out adrian flux and lifesure.. any other suggestions?

Also, for those that have declared the mods on there trucks.. what kinda increase in the premium was there?

when its all complete, it will have:- roof lights
    16" alloys
    33" tyres
    4" sus lift
    tjm winch bumper
SS exhaust with big back bit
    30mm wheel spacers

Thats all the external mods, inside i have white dials, my 'custom' door cards, a sub an amp (still aint fitted yet!!) an a 'in phase' speaker set up but none of that can be seen! i think....

So yeah! Should i get a pot of vaseline ready for my new quote? Or should i get ready to crack open a bottle of bubbly!

Im 20 with 2 years no claims, parking on the road, low risk (i think) post code. im looking for 3rd party F&T at least... if fully comp aint too much i'll go for that.

speak to flux, they told me last year the only thing they couldn't cover on my policy would be an external cage, i'm fully comp with offroad cover including mods for less than what most companies quoted me TPFT

On my escort, it cost me 20quid when i told them about a £1k+ stereo install, 17" alloys, piper exhaust, powertec intake, and mondeo cams (which i never got round to fitting), and a cat. 1 alarm at the same time. Plus they were the 2nd cheapest standard quote i got anyway.

play them off one and other, had my renewal with Tesco's , been with
them for 5 yrs. Got a quote from Adrian Flux for less , back to Tesco's they dropped there cover by £80 :00 ! Result . Staying with them paying
£80;00 less for the same cover . Asked them about "up rated" springs etc.
said it did not mater as long as it did not increase the performance of
              the truck .

                Hi Chaps -

After falling off my chair when receiving my renewal quote from Direct Line (my previous car's insurer), I was contacted by a contact centre who put methrough to various companies for a quote. In the end I took my insurance with 'A Quote' 0870 4446333 - underwriten by highways.

Fingers crossed I wont have to experience the quality of cover given, but I saved £200!!!

im currently with Aquote, my new insurance premium is £1250 3rd f&t

Flux can do me stock on 3rd f&t for £800... an it said on the email "call us, we can always beat these prices"

But aquote have been great, they were the only company to insure me in the first place!!!

Think that's who my policy is underwritten by, i know it changed, it was NIG on the Escort and when i transferred it over it stayed with them, but changed at the renewal.

The highways policy seemed a great deal - they had no problems with the fact that the truck is parked on the road and has no alarm fitted. The fact that I live in the middle of nowhere may have something to do which it however....
