Dumb post award! We've been planning, researching, saving for and organising it for over a year, its cost more than a good truck. I'd hope we know what surface we've ordered!

We've been clearing a gap in the hedge at the top of the fields to get the lorrys in today, I guess we'd better park the horse lorry across it tonight or we'll have a field full of caravans!!!!

It's either that or a lack of toys in the morning

Have you got a dumper hired, or has Matt won the 'wheelbarrow' award for his earlier post ?

you should be ok with a gap in the hedge they wont be able to figure out how that works, but put a gate on it and they'll be in there like a shot.

We've got another rental dumper coming next week, the lorry can get in across the field, they are 'walking floor' bulk transporters, they'll dump in in the arena, then we just have to spread it around using the diggger and dumptruck.

                            Lots of fun.

Matt drives a wheelbarrow now the Surf is gone!

He's kinda right about rubber and sand surfaces, but you use woodchips to, but we don't want to spend that kind of money on an arena thats not on our property, woodchips are fine for light, one or two people use. The deal with the family we rent the fields from is that it has to be returned to field if we ever move. With woodchips, we can just doze all the earth back over the woodchips, and they will biodegrade happily.

must come in compacted bales if they're on a walking floor.

loose chippings wouldn't eject very well.
