  • Shud I or Shudn't I?

    Hi all, just had new tyre fitted and they went to track and balance it but the couldn't do it because the tracking line bar (picture'd below) is crushed and the clips by the look of it have been welded on....so the question is should I go Off Roading this saturday or wait to get a new one (which I have ordered) and go then. Also when I ordered the new part it said use original clips, think mine are ruined so would Cir Clips do the trick? Or can I buy them from somewhere?

        Those are your track rods (1 inner & 1 outer on each side) and the adjuster tube, all available at r/trax.

        I repaced all mine because one had gone, and I figured the others were the same age, also did the steering idler too, yours looks pretty rusty, as does everything else under your truck (surprisingly)

        Got all mine here;

        Edit;

        Oh and as far as the offroading goes,....go for it, these trucks are built tot take abuse, you won't break it.

                Just get those steering bits replaced when you get the chance.
