I've spent hours the last few nights trying to sort my old PC for use in my shed (access to datasheets etc). For numerous reasons, I reckon the mobo or CPU are on the way out. Is there anyone out there who has something they dont need (a left over from an upgrade) that they could donate to the good cause of stopping me going hairless?!

Just needs to support a wireless card, iTunes (connected to the outdoor speakers) and be able to run some fairly old aerodynamic design software.

I've got one going on E-bay at - still 99p the moment! Cost about £400 when I built it....

If you're out this way at all Andy, I've got some, (unknown spec offhand, but PII and upwards), boards and chips knocking about here.

ive got an AMD athlon 64, 939 socket that im going to be looking for a new home for. it only overclocks to 2.8ghz so im not happy. its only single core. it works well, but im after 3ghz at least, so im going dual core >3ghz.
all i have is the processor though

Didn't really want to exchange money, and I need the board too.

May consider up to £10-£15 for something OK that works I suppose.
