  • LONG shot! Whitworth nuts and bolts

Anyone got a couple of 1/4" whitworth countersunk screws, pref <10mm long?

Also need a couple of rivnuts of the same size, or plain nuts if nowt else.

Mark? Got anything like this or is the marine engineering industry all metric?

Thanks Mark, but just bought a few. They were only pennies.

However, if you have 1/4 whit rivnuts I'd be WELL impressed!!!

<edit> While you're around, how would you go about pneumatically operating a brake pedal? I was thinking of one of these things...

For ease of installation, I reckon push, but open to suggestions.

Doesn't need to apply full pressure, just enough for brake lights to come on. I was thinking of putting an actuator in a framework, offering it up to the pedal then wedging it with something like sandbags.

R S components have a wide range of pneumatic rams and control gear.what working pressure is your air,is this via onboard air or from the wkshop? does the actuator have to be removable or is it a permanent fixture?
