  • First time off-roading (mildy)....

Hope you all enjoyed the Rugby Friday night

Well, after buying my 3rd gen in nov 2006 and then subsequently SORNing it until last beginning of this month - I finally got it on the road.

Went to Rooley moor road in Rochdale yesterday. after a few minutes even my problematic flashing 4wd dash lights sorted themselves out (but came back after I put it back in 2wd at the end of the day).

At the start I was a bit worried but the Surf seems to come into its own on the dirt/ gravel.

Loving the Surf. Just wish it was better on-road though.

Sound deadening is definitely on the cards.

    Ash.

Well done on getting it muddy, and I am also having problems, as the site on't let me start a new thread, haven't tried to upload any images yet.

Hopefully admin will have a look at it asap.

Or open image as usual with windows Paint Go to Image then stretch skew
Horizontal & Vertical will show 100% reduce both figures to match so the image is slightly smaller then save as jpeg

Just tried again - 4 images, each less than 60kb, all jpeg. Just getting message saying 'upload of file failed.'
Will try the photobucket option 2morrow - getting past my bedtime.

Can't wait to get into work in the morning - got to rub my SA flag in some faces.

Sorry - but its got to be done.
