Nah there are loads of lanes still open, looks like the link I posted went to a default page and not where I was looking which showed the areas closed, sorry. There's some lanes closed in Horsley, then everything else is above the A3 and are mostly footpaths and bridleways.

haven't done that one myself, but got a couple of guides in Total Off Road of a few lanes that can take you down there

didn't see that one, dam. The issues I've got show guides for going around Gomshall, which would bring you onto that lane from the north at Farley Green
